I'm just sittin pretty over here with all of the wins. I don't get to feel this very often, so let me just bask in it a little longer...
Fantasy win √
Tennessee Vols win (that one really rarely happens) √
Cowboys with easily their biggest win in the last ten years √
I feel like I can take on the world today. Like anything is possible. How bout DEM COWBOYS DOE??!
Ok glad we got that out of the way, now onto the weekend recap... because Monday only allows for minimal blog creativity. (That whole part I just said about taking on the world... yeahhh I'll tackle that on Tuesday...)
On Friday I hauled it home from work to get ready for a fancy charity event CB's company was attending. Just to give you a little perspective on the amount of time I spend in the car on a weekly basis, this involved driving from Farmer's Branch, to Deep Ellum, to Fort Worth in rush hour on a Friday. That is like driving from South Carolina to Arkansas to Oregon. Ok, I'm being dramatic, but only a little.
We were pushed for time, to say the least, and I couldn't decide on a shoe. So I just brought them all...
Better safe than sorry. Also, I had planned to wear a different dress, so I apologize for the white after labor day Magen, but in my defense it was 92 degrees. We managed to make it to Fort Worth just as the dinner was being served. Perfect timing! Just pretend you guys know what CB looks like and envision lots and lots of fab pictures of the two of us charity eventing away!

Also, I edited all those photos for you too. I hope you imagined the hard work I just put into today's imaginary blog post.
Saturday consisted of football, football and then we watched some football. I can't fathom why we decided to do this, but we headed out to brave uptown around 3pm, right as the Texas vs. OU game, that takes place at Fair Park each year, let out. We hunkered down at a cool spot called Prime Bar, and I do mean hunkered down. I think we sat at the bar for a solid 6 hours watching the day's match-ups. I even got the bartender, who was the bomb, to turn on the Tennessee game on a random television in the corner that no one could see but me! Hooray for the VOLS!
I would also like to issue an apology to all the TCU fans out there, your loss is my fault. I publicly endorsed TCU on social media, then they lost a game that was theirs to win from the beginning. I'm a jinx.
You know one of the best parts about having a fantastic manfriend?! Yeah, that would be getting to inherit his fantastic friends. There is seriously not a single friend of his that I don't adore, and these two are no exception. AND AND AND... guess what.... I get to post their picture on the blog! Hooray! See I'm not lying after all!

I'm beginning to think I should carry around a release for all those to sign who may potentially appear on the internet via this blog. The internet is a big scary place, you know...
Saturday night, the coolest thing ever (or perhaps the smallest world ever) happened. I posted that picture above on my personal facebook page, tagged Larissa and Heather, the girls in the picture with me, and Larissa gets a text message from a good friend of hers saying that she knew me from the blog! I about died, that was THE COOLEST thing ever. Hey girl hayyy if you're reading, you made my whole life with that text! I hope we get to hang out soon (also I now feel like like a bit of a creep for just requesting to hang out with someone I've never met but sorry not sorry, I thought it was really cool).
Also, turns out she knows CB too. Secret has been leaked. Breach in protocol in Dallas.
I also posted this shirt on Instagram, and a bunch of you asked where it was from! It is actually available in my shop... go get you some!
Oh, and did I mention.... Go COWBOYS BAEBAYYYY!
