As you may know, I just got back from photo shoot scouting in Boca Grande, Florida.
Count = 773. That count shows the number of times I said to everyone,"Ok, I'm sorry I keep saying this, but would you just look how blue that water is!!"
I guess we are now at 774. But really, would you guys just look? And, I'll quit talkin'!
You're welcome for the picture of my dirty boat shoes! I also had a brush with death when a wild creature came at me at lightning speeds! I was so lucky to get away with my life and limbs intact.
Right before my brush with this crazed creature took place we had just had lunch in a money jungle. At this restaurant, The Cabbage Key Inn, you write a note on a dollar bill, hang it up, and when it falls, the restaurant donates it to the children's hospital.
Two guesses what I chose to write on my dollar...
After getting a little help from my boss who was willing to stand on a chair to hang my dollar, voila! There was my masterpiece! #GBO.
Oh, and it wasn't all work the whole time we were there...
Ok, but would you please look at how blue that water is?
Ok, I'm done now. Promise.
But really, that water though....
Wow that water is really beautiful! Hope you found the perfect place for the photo shoot . . . but you've got me thinking a change in careers is in order because that's the type of work travel I could really get used to.
ReplyDeleteWhat is this fabulous job that gets you to go to these amazing places?? And yes would you look at how blue that water is!!
ReplyDeleteWow! Fantastic photos! What a great place to visit!
ReplyDeleteWay to end it with that last picture... umm that water right there though.... I'd give anything to be there right now!
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't expect you to write anything else lol
ReplyDeleteIf The Cabbage Key Inn gets robbed, do you think the thief will take the time to take down the (hundreds of?) dollar bills?
ReplyDeletethese pics are flippin awesome. like the water is purple blue. and perfect. i used to go to seaside every summer with my family. i need to go again asap.
ReplyDeletevery very beautiful haha love the brush of death with the turtle :))
ReplyDeleteThe water around Florida is one of the reasons I moved to the Keys. It's amazing on clear days.
ReplyDeleteI love Boca Grande. I would totally get married at the old hotel there if I had a million dollars. Isn't it just gorgeous? Insider tip: if you're looking for a similar feeling vacation at a lower price point than Baca Grande - Little Gasparilla and Palm Islands are very close by, and the water is just as blue!

ReplyDeleteI need to go wherever that last picture was taken! That restaurant is awesome, I love that they donate it when it falls :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a great idea! Not only do you have free decoration, but it goes to a good cause :) Oh and also, that water though ... amazing.

Look like you had fun while working. Also the water is super blue.
ReplyDeleteI'm sitting behind my desk at my dull and boring office job, staring at these gorgeous pictures and trying desperately not to run out the door screaming "I QUIT!" and packing up my car and heading to the beach. Now please excuse me while I drool and try and squash my jealousy over that insane water !
ReplyDeleteHope it was as (if not more) relaxing and awesome as it looked in the pictures !
I don't think that counts as working. Seriously! How can anyone count it as working when you look at that water!
ReplyDeleteyou officially have the BEST JOB EVER!
ReplyDeleteI want to be your assistant and go with you on your next work vacation adventure, please.

I'm not going to address your blue water obsession because it's just making me jealous. I'm wondering why no one has attempted to rob this place. Also, I don't see those dolla dolla bills falling since they're umm, taped together.
ReplyDeleteHey Sarah!! Wow!! Just wow!! Such great photos!! And how cool is that Inn?!! Just amazing!! Thanks for sharing that with us girl!! ;D XO
