Fan Friday (Thursday Edition): Things You Could Do If You Had As Much Time As Tony Romo

If you haven't been watching much of the Dallas Cowboys this season, then you wouldn't have realized that, thanks to the offensive line, Tony Romo has quite literally time for anything. Romo has all of the time in the world to make a leisurely pass downfield to Dez or to Witten or  he could quite possibly have time to get in his car, dive from Jerry's World to Dallas in rush hour and throw the ball to me on my balcony in Deep Ellum.

So I got to thinking, what are some things you could do if you had as much time as Tony Romo?

1. You could do this 400 step DIY Christmas Light Up Marquee
(can you guys just sell me this please? It is beautiful and I just don't have the kind of time Tony Romo has...)

2. You could first learn to crochet. Then after you've mastered the art of crocheting, crotchet around a bunch of tube lights and create this outdoor floor mat
3. You could make an ice bucket filled with stuff.
More than likely you would also have the time to sit and watch it freeze.
4. You could style your Thanksgiving table just like The Glitter Guide
#howlongdidthistakeyou?
5. You could take an Instagram photo worthy of KJP's account
#howlongdidthistakeyou? Also, I've been talking about starting a #HowLongDidThisTakeYou hashtag for months now... gotta get on that.
6. You could host a cookie exchange with other people that have as much time as Tony Romo
7. Trigonometry
you know, just for fun

8. Monday mornings jam packed with productivity.
9. Dry Cleaning Your Clothing after every wash
10. This holiday themed nail art.
Well, or any nail art. He would totally have all the time for all the nail art.

 11. A Turkey Trot
Because I sure as heck don't have time for one of those...

Happy Thanksgiving y'all and GO COWBOYS

4 Holiday Hair Styles to Recreate This Season

This shop has been compensated by Collective Bias, Inc. and its advertiser #HeartMyHair #CollectiveBias for Great Everyday Hair. All opinions are mine alone.

You may not know this about me but I love love love doing hair. There is something very therapeutic to me about sitting down on a Thursday night before the weekend kicks off, with a glass of vino, a blow drier and a curling iron heating up.

My favorite way to style my hair is the beachy wave. But here is the problem with my hair, it looks like this after air-drying....

So needless to say it takes some time and patience for me to get soft, "effortless" (hah) beachy curls. To get the hair styles I love, I first blowdry my hair straight, then flat iron, then curl. Total styling time is usually an hour to an hour and a half. So I'm always looking for any possible way to cut that time down.

I recently went to Walmart and bought the Infiniti Pro by Conair® 3Q™ Brushless Motor Dryer and the Infiniti Pro by Conair® Curl Secret®. The Pro 3Q Blow Dryer reduces drying time by up to 70% with lower temperature and faster airflow to minimize heat damage. And the Curl Secret? Well that literally does all the work for you. It is so cool to see in action! I also grabbed a paddle brush and a 90 pack of bobby pins while I was there!

So with my new goodies I thought I'd show you some of the styles I came up with for the holiday parties I'm attending this year!

This hairstyle is seriously so easy. Just place an elastic headband either pulled back about one inch into your hair, or like I did, pulled down a little lower on your forehead for a more bohemian vibe. Then you just take two inch sections and tuck each section under the elastic band so that the ends stick out. Repeat this all the way around your head.

I'm not kidding, this took two minutes. I personally liked it a little messier, so the faster I whipped and tucked, the better it looked!

Oh hey easy peasy....

I just pulled my hair part up and secured it with an elastic. I then pulled about one inch of hair from the ponytail and wrapped it so it covered the elastic. I then secured underneath with a bobby pin. The bobby pin also gave the pony tail a bit more height! This preppy, feminine look would be nice for a work holiday party!

Leaving the front section of hair out, braid about a one inch section of your hair on each side. Pull   back those front pieces you left out, place over the top of your braids and secure with with bobby pins.

Or, if you're like me, the basic everyday curls from the Curl Secret are perfect by themselves! This is how I wore my hair for Friendsgiving this weekend!

I have a trick that will change your hair curling routine!! I shake out the curls in the back of my hair, but NEVER TOUCH THEM IN THE FRONT. The front falls out so much faster than the back, so this keeps them intact a lot longer! Don't listen when people tell you to shake out your whole head, don't do it girl!
