It's So Fluffy!
Another sad Monday rears its ugly head at us all this morning. Although I'm fairly certain I slept as much as a Koala this weekend (22 hours a day if you've never seen that commercial about Koala sleep patterns which played about 48 times during football on Sunday) coffee is still a necessity.
On Friday, one of CB's friends scored a bunch of free tickets to Six Flags. I'm a firm believer that free Six Flags tickets are way more fun than paid for Six Flags tickets, so several of us met for line-less rides and all of the Six Flags games. Pro tip: next time you go to Six Flags over Texas, I would recommend a sports bra because holy throw-you-all-over-the-place rides Batman!
True Life: I'm addicted to amusement park basketball. In other sad news, no, I did not win anything from this game. BUT, in what we will call a combined effort from CB and his bro, I was the proud recipient of a fluffy Six Flags unicorn.
Which pretty much went everywhere I went for the rest of the weekend... you'll see...
They also had a grumpy cat you could win, which to my astonishment, CB had never heard of. *Insert mouth-dropping emoji here* So here is a picture of prize grumpy cat, followed by the actual grumpy cat, so CB can pretend that he doesn't live under a rock now. Am I too obsessed with the internet? Or is CB crazy for not knowing grumpy cat? What gives here??
Chalupa Batman, meet Grumpy Cat. Also known as the most viral thing to ever happen to the internet.
The next day's plans ended up falling through, and the pups were the direct beneficiary. In the span of three hours, the pups got to go on two, 45 minute car rides and play in two different back yards. A far cry from the prison known as my little apartment!
The trip that began like this....
Ended like this...
Where does the couch end and Veenie start?!
While the dogs passed out within minutes of walking in the door, we headed out for a fun night of bowling and pac man.
Not a bad little weekend we had on our hands! Now on to make it through this work week so Helene and I can go jam out at TomorrowWorld!
